Terms and Conditions
These terms govern use of Zeenat’s app and website. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy before creating an account or using the platform.
Operator and eligibility
These terms apply to the service provided under the name Zeenat in Pakistan. Contact support@zeenat.app for questions or complaints. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into these terms to use Zeenat. If you act for a business, you must have authority to bind it. Age confirmation is a self-declaration; it is not identity verification. You must provide accurate information and must not misrepresent your age or authority.
Zeenat’s role
Zeenat provides technology for discovering independent businesses, making service requests, displaying portfolios, posting marketplace listings and participating in a community. Unless expressly stated for a particular service, Zeenat is not the seller, service provider, employer, agent, insurer or guarantor of a listed business or user. Agreements for goods or services are made between the relevant parties. Platform access does not create a partnership or employment relationship with Zeenat.
No background checks or guarantees
Zeenat does not conduct criminal background checks or independently verify every user’s identity, professional qualifications, licenses, insurance, products or claims. Any account, profile or content review is limited to the purpose stated and must not be treated as certification, an endorsement or a safety guarantee. Listings, ratings, reviews, prominence and approval indicators do not guarantee honesty, quality, suitability, availability or performance.
Your responsibility to verify and transact safely
Before dealing with a business or another user, independently check their identity, contact details, qualifications where relevant, product or service details, price, payment arrangements, cancellation terms and delivery expectations. Ask for written confirmation and appropriate receipts. Exercise caution with advance payments, unusual payment requests or pressure to transact immediately. Never share passwords, one-time codes or payment credentials. Use appropriate precautions when meeting others and report suspected fraud to support@zeenat.app and, where appropriate, the relevant authorities. These precautions do not remove any rights you have against Zeenat or another party under applicable law.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping credentials secure and activities you authorize through your account. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. Do not impersonate another person, share an account for deceptive purposes, circumvent restrictions or access information without permission. We may take proportionate action to protect the platform and other users when we reasonably suspect misuse.
Requests, prices, payments and disputes
Submitting a request does not itself guarantee acceptance, an appointment or performance. Customers and businesses must confirm the scope, measurements, timing, location, total price, taxes, delivery, changes and cancellation or refund terms before proceeding. Each business is responsible for its services, products, representations and legal obligations. Zeenat currently offers no paid platform features. Amounts charged by independent businesses are separate from any platform fees. We do not promise escrow, reimbursement, insurance or recovery of losses for transactions arranged between users. You should first raise a transaction issue with the relevant party; you may also contact our support team regarding platform misuse. We cannot guarantee resolution of a private dispute.
Possible future featured listings
Zeenat may introduce optional paid business promotion or featured placement in the future. It is not currently offered as a paid feature. Before any purchase, the applicable price, duration, placement conditions and cancellation or refund terms will be disclosed. Paid prominence, if introduced, will be identified as sponsored or promoted and will not imply independent verification or guarantee sales, enquiries or a permanent ranking. Existing use of Zeenat does not authorize a future charge.
Business and marketplace responsibilities
Businesses and sellers must have the rights, permissions and qualifications required for their activities, keep listings accurate, honor agreed commitments and comply with applicable consumer, tax, safety and other laws. Do not offer illegal, counterfeit, stolen or misleading goods or services. Do not publish personal information without authority or use customer contact details or measurements for unrelated purposes. You are responsible for information received through a request and must handle it securely and lawfully.
Content, reviews and community conduct
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Zeenat a non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display and distribute that content as necessary to operate and provide the features in which you submit it, subject to your choices and the Privacy Policy. You must have the necessary rights and permissions. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. Fraud, harassment, threats, hate, exploitation, unlawful sexual content, spam, misleading claims, fabricated reviews and infringement of privacy or intellectual property are prohibited. Do not upload another person’s private or sensitive information without a lawful basis.
Moderation and reporting
We may review reports, remove or restrict content, limit features or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, comply with law or protect users. Moderation does not mean every listing or interaction has been checked. Use available reporting controls or contact support@zeenat.app with relevant details; do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. If you believe an action was mistaken, contact support to request review. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the action and consider your response.
Availability and third-party services
We aim to keep Zeenat useful and reliable, but availability, search results, distances, maps and user-supplied information may be incomplete or inaccurate. Features may change or be interrupted for maintenance, security or operational reasons. WhatsApp, mapping providers and other external services have separate terms. Check critical details directly before relying on them. Zeenat is not an emergency service.
Responsibility and limits
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Zeenat does not warrant the conduct, goods or services of independent users or businesses and is not responsible for losses caused solely by their acts or omissions. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including responsibility for our own conduct where imposed by law, or removes mandatory consumer rights. A user’s responsibility to exercise care does not excuse fraud, unlawful conduct or breach of legal obligations by any party. No statement here guarantees that every exclusion will apply in every circumstance.
Closing an account and retained information
You may stop using Zeenat and contact support@zeenat.app about closing or deleting your account. Account deletion and temporary deactivation are distinct. Handling of associated information is described in the Privacy Policy; outstanding legal obligations and legitimate disputes are not automatically cancelled by closing an account. When an account is closed or deactivated, Zeenat retains the user’s name, email address and phone number without a fixed expiry period for account continuity, allowing a returning user registering with matching details to be associated with the previous account record. This is not complete erasure. Contact support@zeenat.app to request permanent deletion or object to this retention; any applicable legal or security-related retention will be explained.
Changes to these terms
Each published version has a version number and effective date. Revised terms will be made available on the website and in the app. Material changes will be communicated, and acceptance obtained where required by applicable law. Changes do not retrospectively authorize charges or remove rights already accrued. If you do not agree to applicable revised terms, you may stop using the service and request account deletion.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, subject to any mandatory protections applicable to you. Disputes may be brought before a court with competent jurisdiction; these terms do not remove any non-waivable right to use a competent court or regulator. Please contact support@zeenat.app first if you would like us to help address a concern. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
